In the spirit of being open to all, the LGBTA+ community of The University of Texas at Austin is hosting a free gay chat every first Thursday of the month. The chat will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15 in the LBGT+ Resource Center. The group is hosting the chat in order to provide a safe space for those who identify as LGBT+ to talk about their experiences and share their stories. 'We want to create a space where people can feel comfortable to talk about their experiences and ask questions,' said Amy Skelton, a member of the LBGT+ Resource Center. 'We also want to provide a space where people can share their stories and connect with others.' The LBGT+ Resource Center provides a space for people to come together and talk about their experiences and share their stories.
