Walkthrough[]
In order to gain access to Hook Coast, you must first activate the Ancient Cullis Gate in Darkwood. The cullis gate will only become active 'when its hunger for undead souls is sated'. As you approach the inactive gate the undead will start to rise from the ground (mainly undead generals). A meter appears on the screen. Once the meter is full, the gate will become active. A cutscene ushers you automatically into the gate, which then transports you to Hook Coast.
Once in Hook Coast, your goal is to reach the ruined abbey. However, upon arrival you'll find a red impenetrable barrier blocking the entrance. Your mother contacts you and asks you to return to the Guild. As soon as you return to the Guild, Scarlet begins to make odd comments over your Guild Seal. Once you arrive at Maze's quarters, you witness Scarlet being abducted by two minions. However, before they teleport away, she implores you - 'don't forget the book!'.
