I did not mind the application but some of the guys on there were super scary and or boring. I got a lot of weird comments and stuff. I would go back on this application. I would recommend people too.

The approach we used for this article on the Tinder hookup guide was to carry out comprehensive research on what the Tinder app is all about and analyze the use cases for both men and women on the app. We arrived at our conclusion by evaluating the percentage success of men/women that have used the Tinder app/site for a sex date. .fashioned hookup and browse profiles one-by-one, but, hey, that site actually be a good thing after the indiscriminate swiping that goes on on Tinder.

Is Tinder A Good Hookup Site Reviews

I’ve used a number of sites and Tinder has the biggest pool of members. If you want quantity over quality this site is for you. Unfortunately, it is a way for illegal prostitution to flourish. You can arrange a meeting for a “donation” or get a “massage” all for the right price. It’s not hard to tell the difference between an escort and a real woman by the profile pictures. Obviously if a woman is wearing lingerie or something very revealing they are advertising the product. It’s sometimes very disheartening to see so many young women selling their bodies. There are days I stop looking at profiles because there are so many.

I met my wife through Tinder! I owe them that! Good service and I liked how easy it was to use. It's more of a dating app now than a hook up app that it started out as. The idea was ingenious and I'm happy I used it to find my life partner.

It’s a great way to start getting back into the dating scene until eventually you won’t need it anymore because you’ve finally found that true love. I thought I’ve found true love, and I did for about 3 years. Looks like it’s back to the drawing board????

So never thought I would say this but I found the love of my life on Tinder lol. So so many bad experiences to go through to get to him. But honestly, he is worth all that sacrifice. Keep your head up folks, you will get there.

So I’ve been on Tinder on and off throughout the years since it started. Recently got a new number and made a new profile. Been on it this time for a month or so. Then yesterday I go to check the app and it says my account was banned. I reached out to support and they send the same thing over and over again. Telling me they take their policies and guidelines seriously yet won’t investigate my account as I assume it was either compromised or they just didn’t like the fact that I wasn’t soliciting myself.

I have a disability so it’s very hard to find dates for me. Regardless of it being tinder, I was hopeful. As I’ve heard that there are decent people on the app. So I reached out to customer service requesting an investigation because I would never ever put up anything that they have on their community guidelines. I’m a real person looking for something real. No nudity. No scams or spam. No hate speech. No discrimination whatsoever. I am a respectable person on any dating app minus some flirting here and there.

I am extremely disappointed that they ban me but not the numerous guys who would sexually harass me or ask for sexual favors. I’ve seen fake profiles and profiles with nudity and prostitution. Tinder will lose all their users if they continue to ban the wrong people. It’s sickening what tinder has become. Do not use tinder at all. I was upset about being banned but after reading some of these reviews I’m glad they banned me.

They say it's free but want a credit card that is prostitution where I will not participate. Seems all dating sites are phony. These women should be in a grocery store or Walmart hitting on guys instead of hiding behind a website

I was using Tinder for a few months. I was really enjoying it…and I was meeting and chatting with various men. About 4 weeks ago I got a pop up on my Tinder App. It asked me to verify my identity for security reasons. It asked me to take 2 Live Photos of myself and send them in. I did and then I was surprised at what came next. My App was disabled pending a review due to “questionable conduct”. I was confused and had no idea of what this was about? The message told me that it would take 2 hours to review my account and to just have s snack and kick back while a decision was being made. It took a lot longer than 2 hours.

The next morning I got up and tried to open my Tinder App. I got a pop up that said my account had been banned. I was shocked!!! What was going on? I tried to see if I could find a customer service phone number, but nothing. There is no person anywhere to talk to. I found a couple of help emails. I sent in 2 emails apologizing for I’m not sure what? I have waited 4 weeks snd not one response.

What a terrible company!!! They have no customer service and they even have the audacity to say online that they don’t have to return emails from customers. I still have no idea what I did wrong to get banned? I wish I had an explanation because it might be a misunderstanding. They gave me no explanation of warning, or second chance. It was like one day I had my app and the next I didn’t. And which professional company does not have a customer service number you can call?

What a terrible company… and the people running it!!! Since when are consumers and citizens of the free world not given a chance or an explanation as to what they did? Where are my democratic rights as s consumer to not know why I got banned? Not even the courtesy of an email response. Since when are consumers in the free world not treated innocent until proven guilty? I don’t know if someone made false claims against me? or I’ve been mistaken for someone else? Nothing because they won’t get back to me. Apparently, I was reading the reviews online and this has happened to a lot of people. What a terrible company!!! I would highly warn people against joining this App because you will get no service or help when you need it. Tinder will ignore you and keep you in the dark.

My experience on Tinder dating site was terrible. Lots of scammers phony and fake profile. I got ripped off on this site. I bought membership and I keep adding advanced features to help me find a soulmate or date. None of these advanced features or upgrades worked. Also made a complaint with the BBB for my refund of money. Boy that was a hassle but they did post them under their complaint reviews for the public to get reviews on. I would not recommend Tinder to anyone.

I am a 49-year-old gay man who has never used Tinder before, but I moved to the US five weeks ago and am recently divorced, and someone recommended it to me. As a newly arrived immigrant, I got a cell phone number from T-Mobile, also 5 weeks ago. When I attempted to sign up with said number, before I had had any opportunity to interact with a single person, I got a banned notification informing me that my number had been banned, so I was banned. I had paid for 6 months up front, because as others have mentioned here, you literally can't do anything without paying on Tinder. I assumed there had been some sort of mixup or mistake, given that I've barely set foot in this country. So I contacted customer 'support' (heavily sarcastic quotes) and explained the situation in detail. I received the following response from:

'I’m very sorry to hear about this, however, please note that we take violations of our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines very seriously, and do not offer an appeals process at this time. Consequently, your account will remain banned from Tinder.' I feel like they're not really sorry to hear about this. I'm also willing to bet money that whoever they banned wasn't a middle-aged gay man who looked like me or had a remotely similar profile; just a hunch. I replied to repeat again that I have literally just arrived in the US and been assigned that cell number. I also asked if the number could have been recycled (it was, see below). They sent a virtually identical response: 'You're banned for life, no recourse.' Luckily, they did refund me, and from what little I saw of the app, I feel I had a lucky escape.

Constant upselling and a miserable experience. Plus zero to negative customer 'service'. I've just been on the phone to T-Mobile to complain, and lo and behold, they confirm that my number was indeed recycled from a previous user, which is incredibly common here and can happen within as little as 30 days. But who cares who that affects, right?
